Classic Mini Electrification Kit


Product Description

A purpose designed vehicle electrification conversion kit for Classic Minis. The kit comprises of our own HPD-E 128 motor and transmission system, output shafts and new, bespoke subframe. Swindon Powertrain can provide numerous accessories to simplify the conversion of a classic mini.

Installation

Designed to enable the electrification of the classic Mini. The Classic Mini Kit includes an HPD-e 128 electric drive unit pre-installed in a new, modified subframe. The kit is compatible will all classic mini’s built from 1959 to 2001 with dry suspension. Any vehicles fitted with Hardy-Spicer driveshafts will need to be converted to use the standard, constant velocity driveshafts.
